Founder and owner of THE HIGHLANDS EXPEDITIONS Company. DAMIAN was born and grew up in this beautiful region and since he was a child he has been going through “CORDILLERA NEGRA AND BLANCA ” from side to side along with his father, from whom he learnt what he knows, and so, now he continues with his hard labor.

16 years ago he found in this career a noble vocation as a mountain guide, he also belongs to UIAGM, he climbed many mountains from Southern Peru to the South going through BOLIVIA, ARGENTINA, CHILE and the Alps climbing up many times the highest mountains in South America along with the clients or by himself. He has also experience organizing adventures such as ski, rock climbing, ice climbing, trekking, over landing, mountain bike and others, these adventures promoted some projects such as the development of Rural Communities in the Andes that nowadays is taking place in towns which are afar off cities.

A charming and lovely man with deep feeling and adventures spirit. He traveled through the Alps, Andes and other continents, all the places he visited include Andean Valleys and other lands in Latin America. He climbed up so many mountains at the “CORDILLERA BLANCA” and “HUAYHUASH” that number them would probably take a life time, nowadays, he is still traveling.

He is a member of Alpenverein Climbing Austria and majored in photography and advisory for people who loves this kind of adventures.

DISCOVERING USA AND PERU

After many years on bicycling competence, and after many triumphs Skip started guiding groups in South American Andes, beginning with an amazing trajectory reaching many peaks in the CORDILLERA BLANCA, nowadays, in his native city, he specializes ice wall climbing, rock climbg and others. Knowing he is a person with winner spirit, he transmits the same experience on the mountains.
